About Us

Established in 1939, Cullman Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is a fully accredited 145-bed medical center owned and operated by the Healthcare Authority of Cullman County and serves more than 150,000 residents in a six-county service area. CRMC is dedicated to promoting wellness by providing excellent healthcare services in the most efficient manner and exceeding the expectations of those we serve. CRMC features a medical staff of nearly 200 physicians and specialists, employs nearly 1,000 and delivers close to 1,000 babies each year. CRMC is a Level 3 Trauma Center, a Tier 1 Provider by BlueCross & Blue Shield and a Tier 1 Heart & Stroke Center by the American Heart Association. CRMC features private inpatient rooms, three professional office buildings with electronic medical records and the latest technology. CRMC also provides many outpatient services including: physical therapy & rehab, sports medicine, women's diagnostic services, sleep studies through the CRMC Sleep Disorders Center, pain management through the CRMC Pain Clinic, specialized wound healing, home care & hospice services.

CRMC is fully accredited by the Joint Commission and consistently receives awards for excellence including: the 2013 Modern Healthcare Spirit of Excellence Award for Patient Safety, the 2013 Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Patient Safety Winner, the 2013 Nursing IT Innovation Gold Award for Patient Safety, the 2012 Most Wired Innovator Award (one of 3 in the nation), BCBS Blue Distinction Designation for Knee & Hip Replacement to name a few.
