FIFTEEN MINUTES: Homage to Andy Warhol Open House and Lecture

The Evelyn Burrow Museum would like to invite the community to an open house and reception at Wallace State Community College for its current exhibition — FIFTEEN MINUTES: Homage to Andy Warhol. The open house will be Thursday, October 19 from 5-7 p.m. The lecture is set for 6 p.m. and will feature guest lecturer Seth Hopkins, an Andy Warhol expert and the executive director of the Booth West Art Museum in Cartersville, Georgia.

The FIFTEEN MINUTES exhibition was curated and produced by conceptual artist Jeff Gordon and painter Path Soong. Works on loan from the Booth Museum, the Abroms-Engel Institute for the Visual Arts at UAB, and the Huntsville Museum of Art are included in the exhibition, along with reflections by art world greats ranging from Ivan Karp to Bob Dylan to Patty Smith, and many more.
