DESCRIPTION:Fill Up a Classroom and Empty Landfills In honor of Community College Awareness Month and Earth Day\, WSCC and CCPR have partnered with Kenya Relief to provide laptop computers and smart devices for their staff and students for use in their new computer labs. Laptop computer\, tablets\, mobile phones\, and digital cameras will be accepted. ___________ At this time\, we can only accept listed items that are fully functional less than five years old. This is a first time project for all involved\, and we currently do not have the resources in place to accept items that fall outside the needs of the organization. We will work in the future to expand the event to include all the technology we can\, but at this time the cost and resources it would take to repair broken items or replace faulty batteries\, AC adaptors\, and screens are beyond our means and would actually cause a burden to the nonprofit recipient. If you'd like to discuss donation outside of these specifications or those you feel would still be of use\, please excuse our oversight and call 256-339-7952 or email mandyshea@kenyarelief.org. All items donated must be unlocked with pin numbers and passwords removed and\, if possible\, restored to factory default. Accessories that contribute to protection or improvement are welcome\; e.g. cases\, tripods\, additional lenses\, original software discs\, or memory cards.
