She owns her own business development consulting firm and serves as the Chief Development Officer of Resource Fiber, a company that is dedicated to the growing and manufacturing of bamboo in the Black Belt Region of Alabama. She is also founder and CEO of Alabamboo Partners, LLC, which is designed to promote the bamboo industry.
